Originally launched in 2002, the Roadster returns to the watchmaking spotlight, reinterpreting its iconic codes inspired by the world of mechanical fuselages. The new model refines proportions, streamlines lines and enhances ergonomics, while preserving the distinctive ogival shape and bold character that made it a reference among connoisseurs.

The design is defined by a perfectly integrated crown, creating a harmonious balance between bezel and case, and by the continuous dialogue between glass and metal, which enhances its aerodynamic silhouette. The tachometer‑inspired dial retains Cartier’s signature elements — Roman numerals, chemin de fer minute track and circular flinqué motif — now elevated through refined decorative techniques that add depth and modernity. The date window magnifying lens, inspired by headlamps, along with rivets and screws, reinforces the watch’s powerful identity.

Powered by in‑house automatic mechanical movements, the Roadster showcases Cartier’s watchmaking expertise, extended to the metal bracelet, redesigned with slimmer, more ergonomic links. The patented QuickSwitch™ system allows the strap to be easily interchangeable, combining versatility, comfort and technical sophistication.
