Water resistance is one of the most important features to ensure the durability and functionality of a watch — especially for those with an active lifestyle or a passion for water-based activities. But what does it really mean?

  • Not all watches are suitable for contact with water, it is always a good idea to check this information before use.
  • Generally speaking, it is not recommended to wear the watch in a sauna or Turkish bath.
  • Before immersing the watch in water: check that the crown and all screw-down buttons on the case are properly closed.
  • Do not operate the chronograph function buttons underwater

  • When diving, do not pull out the crown to change the date and time to avoid water getting in.

  • After bathing in sea water or chlorinated water, it is recommended to rinse your watch with fresh water.

  • If condensation forms inside your watch, contact one of our service centers immediately.
