Launched in 1999, the Lange Datograph immediately became one of the reference high-end chronographs thanks to its aesthetic line and the L951.1 movement made up of 390 components. In 2011 the Saxon Manufacture introduced a new version, with some stylistic and mechanical updates compared to the original series, which also involves the "Albino": the version created for PISA 1940 , in just 10 examples, presents unique characteristics. While maintaining the platinum case and applied Roman indexes, it stands out for its silver dial compared to the classic black one. Hence the nickname "Albino" . The numbering from 1 to 10 of the limited series and the PISA wording are shown on the back of the case which features a transparent case back. Exclusively, the Albino also comes with a full platinum caseback, supplied together with the guarantee, which bears the original signature of Walter Lange, great-grandson of Ferdinand Adolph, founder of the manufacture.
