Description

This remarkable timepiece pays tribute to the 50th anniversary of the Silver Snoopy Award, a distinction presented to OMEGA by NASA astronauts in 1970, in recognition of the brand’s significant contributions to space exploration, including the Apollo 13 mission.

The 42 mm stainless steel case is paired with a blue nylon strap, which features the Apollo 13 mission trajectory embossed on the underside. The silver dial is distinguished by angled hour markers and hands in blue PVD, along with an embossed silver medallion of Snoopy on the blue subdial at 9 o’clock.

The dark side of the Moon is depicted on the NAIAD LOCK caseback, crafted in sapphire crystal using a micro-structured metallization technique. Snoopy appears inside his Command and Service Module (CSM) on a magical hand that rotates when the chronograph function is activated. In the background, a rotating Earth disc turns once per minute, synchronized with the watch’s running seconds.

In addition to the black engravings on the caseback honoring Apollo 13 and OMEGA’s Silver Snoopy Award, the watch also features a blue ceramic bezel ring [ZrO2] with a white enamel tachymeter scale. This non-limited edition is powered by the Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 3861 and comes in a special presentation box.
