Gli orologi che hanno brillato sul Palco del Festival di Sanremo 2025

The watches that shone on the stage of the 2025 Sanremo Song Festival

Once the Sanremo is over, besides commenting on the real stars of the festival, the songs, it's time to take a minute to look at the outfits and accessories worn by the artists, which caught everyone's attention, becoming an essential part of the show.

The spotlight is on the artists' wrists, as we take a journey through the most iconic watches that graced the stage of the Ariston Theatre in this 75th edition of the Sanremo Song Festival, hosted by Carlo Conti.

Rolex, the confirmation of excellence

Of all the watches preferred by those who took part in the 2025 edition of the Sanremo Song Festival, the absolute favourite was undoubtedly the Rolex, a symbol of excellence and savoir-faire, a reliable choice when it comes to expressing a strong and charismatic personality.

So it comes as no surprise that the Swiss brand was chosen by host Carlo Conti, the artistic director and presenter of this year's edition, confirming – if ever there was a need – that even a model with a sporty and robust design like the Rolex Explorer II can be elegantly combined with a tux. Featuring a 42 mm stainless steel case, a highly-legible white dial, which is easy to read in very poor light, and an orange GMT hand, the watch was a key part of Carlo Conti's attire, given the proverbial Swiss precision with which he decided to host this edition of the Festival.

Conti's colleague Gerry Scotti, who co-presented the first evening of the Festival, also chose the Rolex Explorer II, designed for those with a passion for adventure. And what could be more adventurous than co-hosting the most popular Italian music festival?

The Geneva-based brand was also chosen by other artists taking part in the event, including Modà frontman Kekko Silvestre. Renamed “Starbucks” by its fans, the Rolex Submariner completed a simple black outfit with an unbuttoned shirt, rocker style. Originally designed as a divers' watch, the Rolex Submariner worn by the singer is characterised by a 41 mm Oystersteel case, a black dial and a unidirectional rotating bezel crafted in green ceramic.

One of the most memorable outfits of the second night of the Sanremo Song Festival was that of Stash, frontman of The Kolors. Along with his sparkling suit, he wore an 18-carat Everose gold Rolex Yacht-Master 40 on his wrist, with a diamond-paved dial and Oysterflex bracelet. It definitely didn't go unnoticed and revealed his love of exclusive luxury accessories.

Patek Philippe on the Ariston stage: a rare if not unique piece

The front man of The Kolors showed himself to be a bona fide connoisseur when he wore the recently launched Patek Philippe Cubitus on the first night of the 2025 Sanremo Song Festival. This rare timepiece combines elegance and contemporary style, and also perfectly embodies the essence and flair of the singer, with echoes of the past and sounds of the present.

With its octagonal steel case with chamfered corners, the timepiece flaunts an olive green dial with a sunray horizontal-relief finish and integrated bracelet.

A masterpiece that expresses all the skill and attention to detail that have made the Swiss watchmaker Patek Philippe famous all over the world.

Cartier, the brand preferred by the rappers in Sanremo

A choice that may seem risky at first glance, but which is actually spot on. One of the outfits that stood out particularly on the first night of the Sanremo Song Festival was that chosen by the rapper Gué, who wore a diamond-encrusted Cartier Santos with a steel case and a silver opaline dial. It's a well-known fact that rappers love diamonds, but Gué's choice reveals character and a refined taste for pieces of priceless historical value, considering that the Santos is one of the first wristwatches ever created.

He was accompanied on stage by Joshua Bale, who also chose the Cartier Santos to enhance his outfit, but in a total black version. The precious timepiece is characterised by a steel case with a black ADLC coating, a choice coordinated with the artist's contemporary style.

Between iconic models and bold choices, these timepieces have become stars in their own right, proving once again that details make all the difference. And now we just have to wait for the next edition to find out which new works of watchmaking art are going to steal the show next.
