Oyster Perpetual watches are the direct descendants of the original Oyster, the world's first waterproof wristwatch, on which Rolex has forged its reputation for excellence since 1926. The Oyster Perpetual, certified Superlative Chronometer, benefits from all the key features of Oyster Perpetual collection: the excellent chronometric precision, the waterproofness of the Oyster case and the self-winding mechanical movement with Perpetual rotor. Sober and aesthetic, it stands out for its elegant and universal style.
DYNAMIC AND ALWAYS CURRENT
The Oyster Perpetual offers precise display of hours, minutes and seconds. The different variations of the watch are distinguished thanks to the refined or bright colors of the dials, which range from silver to bright blue or bright black, in the more sophisticated versions with sunray finish, passing through the more lively shades of the lacquered dials, such as pink candy, light turquoise or green. Offered in five sizes – 28mm, 31mm, 34mm, 36mm and 41mm – the Oyster Perpetual offers the largest variety of diameters within a Rolex range.
The watches are equipped with a three-row Oyster bracelet, safe and comfortable. The bracelet features an Oysterclasp with folding clasp and features the Easylink quick extension link, developed by Rolex, which allows you to adjust the length by approximately 5 mm.
Oyster Perpetuals are made exclusively from Oystersteel. Developed specifically for Rolex, Oystersteel belongs to the 904L family of steels, alloys generally used in high technology. Extremely resistant to corrosion, Oystersteel, once polished, boasts a particular shine that lasts over time. 
RELIABILITY AND PRECISION
The case of the Oyster Perpetual is guaranteed waterproof to 100 metres. The case middle is machined from a solid block of Oystersteel. The caseback with fine grooves is screwed tightly together with a special tool; This way, only Rolex-licensed watchmakers can access the movement. Another essential element for the waterproofness of the watch is the Twinlock winding crown, firmly screwed to the case and equipped with a double waterproofing system.
Depending on its size, the Oyster Perpetual is equipped with the caliber 2232 (for the 28 mm, 31 mm and 34 mm models) or the caliber 3230 (for the 36 mm and 41 mm models), self-winding mechanical movements entirely developed and produced by Rolex which guarantee high performance in terms of precision, autonomy, shock resistance, comfort of use and reliability.
SUPERLATIVE CHRONOMETER CERTIFICATION
Like all Rolex watches, the Oyster Perpetual boasts Superlative Chronometer certification. This title certifies that each watch that leaves the brand's laboratories has successfully passed a series of tests conducted by Rolex in its laboratories according to its own criteria. Superlative Chronometer status is symbolized by the green seal that accompanies every Rolex watch along with a five-year international warranty.
